From $7M in product innovation to smart connectors and a game-changing website builder — here’s what the October edition of AirWaves revealed.

The October 2025 edition of AirWaves offered a front-row seat to EventsAir’s vision for the year ahead, straight from the executive team themselves. Hosted by AirTime MC, Hope Simona, this special edition of AirWaves introduced a fresh format that put strategy, innovation, and customer feedback at the heart of the conversation.

If you missed the live session, here’s a quick recap of the standout announcements and future-forward insights shared by CEO Paul Trappett, VP of Product Renee Elliott, and Head of Integration Services Jase Hopkins.

New Leadership, New Horizons – Paul Trappett

A Vision Fueled by Depth, Not Simplicity

In his second AirWaves appearance as CEO, Paul Trappett emphasized that EventsAir’s strength lies in its depth and breadth of functionality, and that is not changing anytime soon.

With a sharpened mission to streamline complexity and unlock productivity, Paul highlighted EventsAir’s commitment to retaining robust capabilities while using AI to simplify how planners interact with the platform.

“The goal isn’t to simplify the platform by removing functionality, but to enhance how planners experience it by using AI to unlock that complexity and make it easier to access,” Paul shared.

Paul also emphasized that as powerful as EventsAir is on its own, its real potential shines when it connects effortlessly with the broader tools planners rely on such as marketing platforms, CRMs, finance systems, and beyond. He described the integration space as a major unlock for customers, helping reduce manual tasks, improve accuracy, and enable faster decision-making.

“If we can help planners eliminate double-handling, remove manual reconciliation, and break down siloed systems, that’s a massive win,” he noted.

Expect continued investment in Smart Connectors and open APIs, ensuring EventsAir isn’t just your event hub, but a fully connected productivity engine.

$7 Million Investment in Development Capacity

To support this vision of AI-powered simplicity and deeply connected systems, Paul announced a significant $7 million investment into the EventsAir platform.

The funding — set to be deployed over the next two years — will supercharge product development, with a sharp focus on AI tools, integration capabilities, and user experience enhancements. That means faster delivery of Smart Connectors, expanded APIs, more powerful automation features, and continued rollout of innovations.

“We will be releasing our 2026 product roadmap at AirTime and customers will be able to see and touch that roadmap every day,” Paul noted, promising greater transparency, tighter release cycles, and real-time updates for customers.

For planners, it means a platform that’s not just keeping up but actively evolving to remove complexity, reduce effort, and give you more time to focus on what really matters: delivering incredible events.

Product Updates – Renee Elliott

Major Product Launches Coming Up

With the foundations set, VP of Product Renee Elliot, showcased how these priorities are already translating into powerful new features, each one tackling a real-world challenge faced (and shared) by planners.

These recent innovations include:

  • Payment Reconciliation: built directly into EventsAir Pay powered by Stripe, payment reconciliation automatically matches event payments with your bank records — giving you audit-ready reporting in seconds.
  • Registration Recovery: designed to capture and convert incomplete registrations, Registration Recovery automatically captures unfinished signups and enables personalized follow-ups. That means fewer missed opportunities and a smarter path to higher attendance — all with minimal setup.
  • Comms Coach: your new AI-powered writing assistant, Comms Coach helps you write, refine, translate, and personalize event communications directly inside EventsAir.

Renee also teased a brand-new website builder, which promises to revolutionize how planners create high-converting event websites — with prebuilt templates, drag-and-drop ease, and responsive design.

“People are super excited… It’s beautiful, it’s responsive, and it’s packed with the features you’d expect from a professional-grade event site builder,” Renee shared.

Accessibility, AI, and Feedback-Driven Roadmaps

Accessibility continues to be a major focus, especially for European customers, with recent updates to the Attendee App and the Interactive Site already live.

But accessibility is just one part of a broader shift: building the platform with customers, not just for them. That shift is powering a feedback-driven roadmap, with direct input flowing through the Aircrafters program and an upcoming community idea-sharing platform, set to launch in early 2026.

“Without our customers’ feedback, we wouldn’t know what to build next,” said Renee, encouraging attendees to opt into the Aircrafters community to shape the future of the platform.

Smarter Integrations – Jase Hopkins

30+ Smart Connectors and Counting

To wrap the session, Jase Hopkins, Head of Integration Services, spotlighted how EventsAir is delivering on the promise of deeper connectivity, one Smart Connector at a time.

Over 30 integrations are already live, including Salesforce, HubSpot, MYOB, Razor’s Edge, and more — with LMS platforms and abstract management tools on the near-term roadmap.

But it’s not just about volume. It’s about removing friction.

“Smart Connectors are the glue that connects all your applications together,” Jase explained. “They eliminate the manual overhead and bring accuracy and automation to your tech stack”.

Each connector is designed to help planners do more with less. Less double-handling. Less admin. Fewer silos. Whether you’re syncing leads from a CRM, reconciling payments, or closing finance reports faster, we are focused on turning integration into acceleration.

And just like the rest of the roadmap, these connectors are shaped by customer needs with future releases prioritized based on planner input and usage trends.
