EventsAir 2025 Recap: Powering the Future of Events

As we close the chapter on 2025, one word keeps coming to mind: transformation. 

It’s been a year of fresh thinking, forward motion, and foundational change. Yes, we’re already looking ahead to what’s next. But right now, we’re hitting pause to reflect. To appreciate the growth. And to celebrate the people and platform that made it all possible. 

Welcome to your official EventsAir Wrapped 2025. Let’s take a look at the moments and milestones that shaped an incredible year. 

2025 by the numbers 

2025 was the year of smarter planning, deeper engagement, and bolder event experiences. Together with our customers, we achieved incredible scale and impact: 

• 32,182 events were delivered through EventsAir, a 17% rise from last year. From intimate roundtables to global summits, planners brought their visions to life at scale. 

• 6.1+ million registrations were processed seamlessly through EventsAir. That’s millions of attendees finding their way to unforgettable events.  

• 11,484 planners relied on EventsAir to bring their vision to life. That’s a 20% increase in the professionals choosing EventsAir to power their planning. 

• 2,913 virtual events took place on our platform. While this represents a 15% drop, it tells a bigger story: in-person experiences are making a vibrant comeback. Virtual remains important, but many planners are shifting focus to hybrid or fully physical formats. 

• $2.1 billion in payments were securely processed – up 15%. Planners are confidently transacting at scale through EventsAir. 

• 8,333 attendee apps were launched, each designed to elevate engagement and real-time interaction. 

• 6,392 event websites were expertly built, launched and promoted to support event marketing efforts.  

• 27% increase in AirTime attendance, reflecting the rising momentum behind our flagship event series. 

Each of these milestones reflects not only growth, but the ongoing evolution of our industry, and our platform’s role in it. 

Product innovation that changed the game 

This year saw EventsAir evolve in exciting new directions. Across design, intelligence, automation, and accessibility, 2025 was a year of meaningful, planner-first innovation. 

Attendee App uplifts 

We introduced a redesigned attendee app, giving planners more flexibility and users a better experience. From simplified navigation and a modern UI to smart features like Quick Connect, the refreshed app helped make events more intuitive and impactful. 

EventsAir Academy 

2025 welcomed the launch of EventsAir Academy – a self-paced, interactive learning platform for customers. With flexible modules, video walkthroughs, and guided activities, we made upskilling faster and easier. 

Attendee Verification 

We introduced Attendee Verification to simplify repeat registrations. Returning attendees could confirm their identity with a passcode, auto-fill key details, and speed through the process. It’s faster, more secure, and smarter. 

Comms Coach 

We launched Comms Coach, a powerful AI assistant embedded in your event content workflow. It helps planners draft, refine, and translate event content, cutting down writing time while keeping comms polished and on-brand. 

Payments ecosystem 

Our updated EventsAir Pay ecosystem brought real-time reconciliation, dynamic payment options, and full finance visibility into one connected workflow. Buy Now, Pay Later options and AI-driven payment insights also went live. 

Modern Website Builder 

In 2025, we launched our most advanced website tool yet. The new builder gives planners full creative control to build responsive, accessible, and visually striking sites in record time. With multi-language capabilities, advanced accessibility support, pre-built blocks, and theme-driven design, it’s a best-in-class experience that empowers every team to launch beautiful, high-conversion event websites without needing developer help. 

Registration Recovery 

This year also saw the arrival of Registration Recovery. The tool helps planners recapture incomplete sign-ups via automated follow-ups and smart segmentation. It’s a smarter way to boost attendance and reclaim lost revenue. 

Integration marketplace 

With more than 30 plug-and-play integrations now available, we expanded our Smart Connectors significantly. From CRMs and finance tools to marketing platforms and AMS solutions, our marketplace helped planners do more with less. 

AirTime 2025 

Our flagship global event went bigger, bolder, and more global in 2025. We met planners across North America, Brussels, and Melbourne. We shared space. Learned together. And celebrated the human side of tech. 

From immersive venues to thoughtful programming, this year’s AirTime reminded us why events matter. And why innovation only makes sense when it’s built with and for the people who use it.

What’s next? A lot. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming in 2026: 

Next-gen registration journeys 

We’re rebuilding registration flows with accessibility, performance, and engagement at the core. The new journeys will feature simplified layouts, improved screen reader support, and seamless mobile and tablet responsiveness. 

App 2.0 

A total rebuild of the attendee app is on the way. Expect faster load times, built-in analytics, an inbox for messages and notifications, and a cleaner UI. All designed to increase engagement, reduce friction, and give planners more control over app performance. 

Frictionless abstract management 

We’re enhancing our abstract tools with AI support, intelligent reviewer workflows, and faster performance. Submission portals will be more intuitive, reviewer tools will streamline scoring, and you’ll be able to manage high-quality content with less admin. 

Advanced custom dashboards 

We’re unlocking a new level of data visibility. These next-gen dashboards offer a more flexible and visual reporting experience, with customizable widgets, filters, and metrics that matter most to your team. 

AI that works the way you do 

We’re bringing AI into EventsAir in ways that feel genuinely helpful, never overwhelming.  

For attendees, we’re introducing smart AI tools that can answer questions, suggest sessions, and build personalized agendas on the fly. For planners, we’re building AI-powered assistants to help you analyze data, answer natural-language questions like “How did this year compare to last?”, and surface meaningful insights in seconds.
