Your FAQs for Planner Assistant
Planner Assistant is available to all EventsAir subscriptions. During the current public Beta period, Planner Assistant is free to use, subject to fair-use limits, giving you the opportunity to start exploring now, asking questions, creating visualizations, and using available Actions.
From October 1, 2026, usage limits will apply based on your EventsAir subscription plan. If you reach your included monthly usage, you'll also have the option to purchase additional credits. Regardless of your subscription, you'll always have a set amount of credits to use Planner Assistant.
Data privacy and sovereignty have been important considerations in how Planner Assistant – and Air Intelligence – has been built.
Because Planner Assistant is embedded within EventsAir, EventsAir has control over where the AI models supporting the experience are hosted. This helps customers meet data privacy and sovereignty requirements while allowing responses to be grounded in the appropriate context.
For organizations assessing the use of AI in their event technology, this native approach means AI is being introduced within the platform where their event data and workflows already live, rather than requiring planners to move event information into a separate AI tool.
MCP allows external AI tools to connect with a platform's context and capabilities. Built-in AI operates natively within the platform itself. Planner Assistant is built directly into EventsAir, so you can ask questions and take supported action in context, without moving to an external AI environment.
EventsAir is also developing MCP capability on this same foundation, giving planners greater flexibility to extend EventsAir into other AI tools and platforms they use. Rather than viewing native AI and MCP as either/or, EventsAir is building native intelligence into the platform while also creating ways for that intelligence to extend beyond it.
Planner Assistant is built natively into EventsAir, rather than operating as a separate tool outside your event management platform. This gives it the context of your EventsAir environment, letting you ask questions and take supported actions in the same place you already manage your events.
